Shoulder pain is one of the most common pains that cause people to take time off work.

The shoulder is the most unstable joint in the body due to a shallow connection between the bones. Pain that comes on in the shoulder is commonly due to poor movement control of the 4 joints within the shoulder complex. If there is a timing issue or block within any of the joints the shoulder will send a signal to the brain saying it is not safe and your brain then interpret that as injury and produces pain in the shoulder to stop you from moving it.

In rehab, we work on getting the joints working together and t getting the rhythm of the bone working in the correct order. This then allows you to strengthen the shoulder and gain confidence throughout movement mapping in the joint.
